Welcome to Brave New Radio, the award-winning student-run radio station of WIlliam Paterson University of New Jersey.

Founded as a closed-circuit on-campus only service in 1967, we've come a long way. Now an FM and webstreaming station, WP 88.7 now serves Passaic county, Bergen county, Morris county, Essex county and potentially the whole world!

We are the national headquarters of College Radio Day, and we are the creators of the Bravery in Radio Award, given every year to people or organizations in recognition for pioneering work in the medium of radio. This past year we honored WNYC's Radiolab for their work to answer the most important questions humans can ask ourselves.

We also just completed our most successful Brave-a-thon fundraising event to date in cooperation with WPTV-6!
